We used those Costco 3-day tickets and went three times this year. Fun overall, but wow the place has changed. Prices are way higher, food felt cheaper (that clam chowder bread bowl used to be so good), and the crowds at Christmas were brutal.
Galaxy’s Edge looks amazing but kind of fizzles after ROTR and Smugglers Run. Meanwhile the classics like Pirates, Haunted Mansion in holiday mode, and Small World at Christmas still hit perfectly. California Adventure was a bust for us one day with half the rides down.
The weirdest change for me was the crowd vibe. Lines were basically 90 percent adults. Felt totally different from when I last went years ago.
We still had a good time and my kid loved it, but between the prices, food decline, and crowds, the value just isn’t what it used to be.
