Discovery nights for employees (estimated taxes and fees)?

My husband and I are planning to use our first Discovery Nights at the Westlake Village property as part of an employee benefit.

I’ve heard that even with this perk, taxes and fees still need to be paid, can anyone confirm if this is true?

If so, could anyone give an estimate of how much we should expect to pay for a two-night stay?

Also, if you have any recommendations for good local restaurants nearby (preferably not overly fancy or chain places), I’d really appreciate it.
