We paid more than €600 per night for two people on the "Unlimited Luxury" all-inclusive package. After a two-night stay, we left feeling that we would have been happier choosing another property.
Food and Dining:
The buffet experience was consistently disappointing. Much of the food appeared overcooked, dried out, or left sitting for too long. Dirty tables and used plates were frequently visible throughout the dining area.
Although the resort advertised unlimited à la carte dining, the reality was quite different. Only one restaurant was open each evening despite the resort being very large and busy. Securing reservations through the app or guest services proved difficult, and even lunch at the Italian restaurant involved a lengthy wait.
Other dining experiences also fell short. The seafood restaurant served food that did not seem fresh, and on one morning, the milk in two of the buffet coffee machines had spoiled. The overall food quality was disappointing enough that we chose to dine outside the resort on our second night.
Service and Operations:
We had booked a Preferred Area room, which included access to a quieter heated pool. However, the area appeared overcrowded, with no standard loungers available. After using an unoccupied cabana that was not marked as reserved, we were informed that there would be an additional charge. Following a discussion, the fee was waived, but the situation felt unreasonable given the amenities included with our booking.
Luggage handling also seemed disorganized. Bags were stored without a clear tracking system, and at checkout, staff nearly gave us another guest's luggage.
Additionally, World of Hyatt points from the stay had not been credited to our account, and we are still trying to resolve the issue.
When we raised concerns, particularly regarding food quality and safety, staff responded politely but without offering meaningful solutions. Although we were promised follow-up after checkout and provided airport transfers as a goodwill gesture, we never received any further communication.
Positives:
The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The resort grounds, pools, and surrounding views were attractive and well maintained.
Bottom Line:
While the property looks beautiful, our overall experience was disappointing. Between the dining issues, operational problems, and concerns about whether the experience matched what was advertised, we did not feel the resort justified its price. We have generally had positive experiences with Hyatt properties, but this stay was stressful and did not deliver the value we expected.
