Flew United on my birthday and honestly left pretty disappointed. The day before, I flew Delta and got way better treatment even an early birthday mention and a free seat upgrade, and I’ve only been a member for a month.
With United, I’ve been loyal for longer, but my flight was delayed, my seat was stuck in the back again, and upgrades were ridiculously expensive. The smallest moment that summed it up was when I asked a flight attendant to borrow a pen and she said she couldn’t because she “needed it for work.” Just felt cold.
Makes me rethink sticking with United when other airlines seem to care more about the little things.
