We have been loyal Hawaiian Airlines customers for the past 15 years and held Pualani Platinum or Gold status during that time.
Since the transition to Atmos and Alaska Airlines integration, we no longer have status, and the experience feels very different.
I recently tried booking a trip from the East Coast that Hawaiian Airlines previously served directly. The available options were not ideal, but still workable for getting there. However, on the return journey, prices increased significantly, by several hundred dollars, and the itineraries involved very long layovers. It feels like there is now an added “travel to Hawaii” premium even when we are simply trying to return home.
Just sharing my frustration. I miss the old Hawaiian Airlines experience and do not feel interested in the current Atmos or Alaska system.
