This feels like one of those happy accident bookings. Originally had a roundtrip JAL business class ticket from YYZ to HKG, connecting via JFK outbound and Chicago on the return. The JFK to HND leg was on the new JAL A350 1000, which was already a win.
Then a schedule change messed with the return and they offered alternatives. Ended up picking Qatar because I’ve heard great things about their business class.
Now the whole trip is about 4,500 CAD total, with Qatar 777ER from HKG to DOH and then an A350 1000 from DOH to YYZ. That sounds kind of insane for the price.
Am I crazy or did this turn into a really solid deal? Curious what others think who’ve flown these cabins.
