I did Scarlett Lady for 5 nights with a girls group after avoiding cruises for 20 years. Last one I did was Carnival and I hated everything about it, so I went in pretty skeptical. Ended up having a really good time.
Rooms were clean and comfy, hammock on the balcony was my favorite spot. Shows and activities felt like adult summer camp in the best way. Pool was crowded but you could still find a chair somewhere. And honestly everyone on the ship was just in a good mood, super easy to meet people.
Food definitely needs work though, especially if you eat healthy or have dietary stuff. Gluten free was weirdly hidden and a lot of things were bland or sugary. Excursions were fun but crowded and very touristy, so don’t expect anything “authentic”.
Also, if you’re single… it’s mostly couples. Not a ton of flirting happening.
Overall though, I had a blast and kinda want to go again. Great for a girls trip.
