Just saw DFW's latest update on Terminal F and wow they moved football field-sized prefab modules across taxiways to build this thing. One of them weighed as much as 12 Boeing 787s! It’s wild to think this is all happening while planes are still taking off nearby. As someone who travels through DFW regularly, I’m all for faster builds that don’t wreck the passenger experience.
Terminal F is set to open in 2027 with 15 new gates all for American Airlines. If this modular method really cuts down on delays and construction chaos, I’d love to see more airports go this route. What do you all think smart innovation or risky logistics?
