For anyone who hasn’t visited it before, there’s an awesome American Airlines store near gate C2 at DFW that’s actually open to the public. It has all kinds of AA merchandise like clothing, mugs, luggage tags, backpacks, pins, model planes, and even retro items from legacy airlines like TWA and AirCal.
It’s one of those genuinely cool airport spots that feels made for aviation nerds and longtime AA fans instead of just another generic souvenir shop.
Unfortunately, because of the upcoming Terminal C refurbishment, DFW Airport apparently plans to close the store permanently with no plans to reopen it elsewhere afterward.
Honestly kind of crazy considering how unique the place is.
If you’ve ever enjoyed the store or think it should stay open in some form, please consider reaching out to DFW Airport and American Airlines to let them know there’s actually interest in keeping it around.

Would really hate to see a place like this disappear completely.
