I had a confirmed booking with Ryanair from London Stansted to Palma de Mallorca. My original flight on 2 April at 17:55 was denied due to overbooking.
Ryanair rebooked me onto alternative flights on 3 April, but I was denied boarding again on the 06:15 flight and again on the 12:25 flight, both due to overbooking. I am currently waiting for the 20:40 flight in hopes of finally being accommodated.
I checked in on time each time and had valid boarding passes, but was repeatedly denied due to overbooking.
Staff mentioned I would receive €250 compensation under EU261, but indicated it may only apply to the original flight.
I am trying to understand whether compensation under EU261 applies once for the original denied boarding, or whether I am entitled to compensation for each instance of denied boarding.
Looking for clarification or experiences from others who have dealt with similar situations.
