Had a BOS to Madrid flight (Aer Lingus booking, Iberia operated) and got denied check-in because the flight was oversold… 2.5 hours before departure.
Got bounced between terminals and airlines with no real help, no clear info on rights, and honestly pretty rude treatment the whole time.
Only option they gave was a new flight arriving almost a full day later, which wrecked a bunch of plans and bookings.
Still kind of shocked at how it was handled.
