Delta selling itineraries with Cathay Pacific interline on new Hong Kong route

Delta appears to be offering itineraries on its new Hong Kong (HKG) route that include interline connections with Cathay Pacific.

This is interesting because Delta typically relies on Korean Air for connections within Asia. It’s also notable that United has similar interline arrangements with Cathay Pacific out of HKG, even though none of these airlines are part of the same alliance.
