IndiGo, India’s largest airline, will begin direct flights between Mumbai and Copenhagen on October 8, 2025, strengthening its European network and expanding into the Nordic region for the first time. The route will operate three times weekly using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft leased from Norse Atlantic Airways, providing passengers with a comfortable, fuel-efficient long-haul experience. This marks IndiGo’s 44th international and 138th overall destination, underscoring the airline’s rapid international growth strategy. The new connection aims to boost tourism, business, and cultural exchange between India and Denmark, while positioning IndiGo as a key player in connecting South Asia with Northern Europe.
