Delta Air Lines Flight 813, a Boeing 757-200 carrying 154 passengers and six crew, departed Detroit Metro Airport for Phoenix on July 3 but returned to Detroit shortly after takeoff due to a non-engine mechanical alert. The aircraft landed safely at around 12:45 p.m., and Delta’s maintenance crew swiftly resolved the electrical issue without deplaning passengers. The flight has since resumed its journey and is now expected to arrive in Phoenix approximately four hours behind schedule.
