Delta Air Lines recently celebrated the completion of its 46th build in partnership with KaBOOM!, this time at Grant Park in Atlanta — the airline’s hometown. On October 25, around 100 Delta employees and local community volunteers came together in a two-year planning process with Grant Park Conservancy to design and build what is noted as the largest playground Delta and KaBOOM! have built together so far. The new playspace includes slides, swings, a net climber frame, a toddler-play area and sufficient space for children to explore freely; it replaces a much-loved but aging playground in the oldest park in Atlanta. At the ribbon-cutting, Delta also presented a US $25,000 check to the Conservancy, underscoring its commitment to community investment.
