Dealing with anti-American vibes while traveling? It’s definitely a thing now

Interesting piece in WSJ today about how Americans abroad are feeling more tension lately, especially in Europe. Protests in Spain and Italy, rising anti-tourism sentiment, and some open disdain toward U.S. politics are making people rethink how they show up as travelers. One woman was prepping for a UK trip and actually got advice on how to "blend in better" clothing, behavior, all of it.

Honestly, I’ve felt it too, especially in parts of southern Europe where over tourism is hitting hard. Curious if others are adjusting how they travel because of this toning down the Americana, switching up the wardrobe, avoiding certain cities?
