We will be staying in Alpnach for about five days in mid-September, and one person in our group has recently insisted on doing a day trip to Milan.
Google suggests the drive is around 2 hours and 38 minutes each way. We will have a rental car for this part of the trip.
I am trying to understand if there is anything important we should be aware of before committing to this plan, such as border crossing issues, traffic, parking difficulties, or anything else that might make the trip more complicated or longer than expected. Any advice would be appreciated.
