Looking at booking the Crowne Plaza Zurich and in the rate breakdown there’s a $9.13 line item labeled “Tray Charge Room Service.”
I don’t use room service at all, so this feels like a random junk fee baked in.
Is this some kind of local mandatory charge in Zurich? Or is it just the hotel bundling in a service fee regardless of whether you use it?
Has anyone booked there recently and seen the same thing?
