IAD → SEA today. Booked a few weeks back and tried to self-upgrade right away, every single Comfort+ seat was blocked. Stayed that way all the way to boarding.
Now I’m on the plane and more than half of C+ is sitting empty after doors closed. Just wild. I get Delta is trying to slow down the free upgrades, but blocking seats only to leave the cabin wide open feels ridiculous.
