If you’ve got a connection in IST, don’t stress. Just follow the transfer signs after landing you won’t hit passport control unless you’re actually entering Turkey. Have your next boarding pass ready to scan.
The airport is huge but easy. Biggest shocker is food prices (think €18 for a McDonald’s meal), so bring snacks if you’ve got a long layover. There are sleep pods if you need rest, and if you’ve got a long enough stop Turkish Airlines even has a free city tour.
