I saw a discussion about the “LA Workers Protection Fee” being added to hotel stays at Hilton properties.
From what I can see, the fee is clearly shown in the Hilton app/website during booking, and even third-party platforms like Booking.com and Expedia also display it before confirming a reservation.
So I’m genuinely confused why some guests are saying they were unaware of it. It seems like the information is presented upfront in the booking flow, so I’m wondering if people are just not reading the full breakdown before clicking through.
