Confused at JFK? Alaska Flights still mostly depart from Terminal 7

Just saw someone stressing about whether Alaska flights are out of JFK T7 or T8. Answer: most flights are still Terminal 7, unless specifically listed otherwise (a couple exceptions already shifted to T8). FlightAware + Alaska’s site confirm it.

It’s messy because of JFK’s $19B renovation and the eventual move to T8 with oneworld partners. If you’re flying soon, double-check your flight status page right before heading out. And yeah, if you screw it up, AirTrain between T7 and T8 is ~10 mins, but it can be a pain if you already cleared security.
