I’m considering using a hard-shell suitcase from Primark (Penny’s) as my priority carry-on for a flight with Ryanair.
It’s not the viral under-seat version with removable wheels, but the standard cabin-size case. My concern is that while one of the dimensions matches the airline’s 20cm depth limit exactly, the other dimensions are slightly smaller than the maximum allowed.
I’m worried the case might end up fitting very tightly in the bag sizer, and I’m concerned that it could be flagged as oversized by gate staff even if it technically meets the requirements.
