“Code red” at SFO and they froze everyone mid walk

That’s one of the worst feelings. You’re basically at the exit and suddenly no one is allowed to move.

Between wind shutting down a runway and then a full security freeze, that’s a brutal combo for connections. SFO already gets backed up fast when they lose a runway.

Five minutes doesn’t sound long until you’re watching your boarding time creep closer.
