I’m planning international travel with Starlux Airlines with an infant who will not be occupying a seat, and I need clarification on the baggage allowance. From what I understand, the infant is allowed one free item such as either a stroller or a car seat. I’m unsure whether the second item would count toward the accompanying adult’s checked baggage allowance.
I’m also wondering if a Spectra item qualifies as a medical device and whether it would be allowed as an additional piece of luggage outside the standard allowance.
My intended plan is to carry multiple items, including a medical device bag, a diaper and milk bag, a personal carry-on, and a carry-on suitcase, along with checked luggage consisting of two suitcases plus a stroller and car seat.
However, I suspect I may need to consolidate some carry-on items and adjust my checked baggage due to limits being used up by the stroller and car seat.
I would appreciate any clarification or personal experiences regarding how Starlux handles infant baggage allowances and how strictly these categories are enforced.
