Citi’s AAdvantage Transfer Perk Just Changed My Points Game- Anyone Else Switching?

I’ve always leaned on Chase and Amex for flexible points, but Citi just made a power move: they’ve added American Airlines AAdvantage as a 1:1 transfer partner. For anyone chasing long-haul business-class redemptions (hello, JAL, Qatar, Finnair), this is a huge win. I’ve already rerouted most of my spending to my Citi Strata Premier and am eyeing the new Strata Elite card for that 100K sign-up bonus. The AAdvantage partner sweet spots are too good to ignore.

I’m a bit nervous a flood of new users will devalue the award chart or clog up premium seat availability. So I’m burning fast already looking at Japan Airlines A350 biz and Finnair to Europe. Anyone else shifting their strategy now that Citi points can funnel directly into AAdvantage? Or are you sticking with Chase/Amex?
