Just got approved for the Citi Strata Elite card and was pleasantly surprised to see 4 Admirals Club passes instantly appear in my AA account. Each pass gets one adult into any Admirals Club for 24 hours.
Seems like a solid perk if you fly AA occasionally and want a lounge break during trips. For us, this probably covers one family round trip per year use two passes on the way there, two on the way back.
That said, for frequent AA flyers, this won’t cut it. The real value comes from the Citi AAdvantage Executive card, which gives full Admirals Club membership and lets you bring guests.
Still, I like that the passes work across lounges for the full day great for layovers or multi-leg trips. Anyone else using these strategically? Wondering how crowding will look as more Strata Elites get into lounges.
