Apologies if this has been covered before, but I’m confused. I selected a flight that showed “first class upgrade available” and chose the first upgrade fare. After booking, I’m not able to select a first class seat.
I thought picking a fare that shows availability plus the upgrade option meant you were basically guaranteed a first class seat at booking. Clearly I’m misunderstanding something.
Can someone explain what that label actually means and why I wouldn’t be able to pick a first class seat yet?
