Always a bit unsettling to hear, even though it’s something planes are designed to handle. This one took off from Shanghai and then had to head straight back after a bird strike.
Guessing it was precautionary, but still… not the kind of thing you want right after departure.
Good reminder how often stuff like this actually happens behind the scenes.
