China Eastern Airlines is launching a new route connecting Shanghai, Auckland, and Buenos Aires starting December 2025. The service will operate twice a week with no plane changes in Auckland, offering a seamless long-haul journey. This makes Auckland the only direct air link between China and Argentina, opening doors for tourism and trade. New Zealand is also easing transit visa rules to support this new connection. Would this route make your Asia–South America travel easier? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
