China Eastern has launched a new weekly nonstop route connecting Nanjing and Paris, departing Nanjing late Wednesday nights and returning Wednesday afternoons, slashing around five to six hours from the journey compared to previous options. The service, operated by a Boeing 777‑300ER, saw more than 90% of economy seats sold during its inaugural flight—highlighting strong demand for direct connectivity between eastern China and Europe. This addition strengthens Nanjing Lukou’s position as an international hub and enhances China Eastern’s growing European network.
