Checked in but can’t get boarding pass… details “don’t match”?

That’s a weird one.


If it shows you as checked in but won’t generate the boarding pass because details don’t match, it’s usually one of these:


Name entered slightly differently than passport (missing middle name, extra space, special characters)


Document number entered wrong format


Nationality or document type mismatch


Even something small like swapped first/last name order can trigger it.


If you can’t fix it in the app, you’ll probably need to go to the airport desk to have them verify your ID and print the boarding pass. Ryanair sometimes forces manual document checks on certain routes.


I’d get there early just in case.
