My partner and I flew to Seattle from Detroit and his checked bag never made it. At check in, our agent set the bags down to tag them, but another agent accidentally put my partner’s bag on the belt before it was tagged. Our agent said he’d radio someone and take care of it, told us we were fine, and sent us on our way.
Of course when we landed, my bag showed up and his didn’t.
We filed a claim right away and have been calling every day. So far they’re saying it hasn’t been located. We gave a full description of the bag and everything inside and have been checking the online tracker constantly. Still nothing.
Super frustrating since this only happened because someone sent an untagged bag down the belt. Has anyone dealt with something similar with Alaska? Is there anything else we should be doing besides waiting?
