Booked a hotel in Sunny Isles through Chase Travel using points, the total showed taxes and a $47 fee included. At checkout, the hotel still charged me another $47 “resort fee.”
Chase Travel refused to reimburse me and couldn’t even explain what “fees included” meant. Nothing in my booking said “pay at hotel” or mentioned extra fees.
Just a heads up, even with the new FTC rule about showing full prices, looks like Chase still hasn’t caught up.
