So Chase just rolled out a 100% transfer bonus to IHG One Rewards through September 4. On paper, that sounds amazing 1,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points turns into 2,000 IHG points. But honestly, is this a good deal? IHG points are generally worth less than other programs, and even with the bonus, you might still get better value transferring to Hyatt or using points for travel through the Chase portal.
Personally, I’ve had mixed results using IHG points some great redemptions, but also some wildly overpriced options. I’m tempted to move a small stash just for a rainy day hotel night, but I’m not sure it’s the smartest play. Has anyone transferred during this promo? Worth it, or nah?
