Chase rep said PP membership isn’t needed… then nope

This one made me do a double take. Someone called Chase to finally activate Priority Pass and the rep told them Chase doesn’t issue actual PP memberships anymore. Supposedly you just show the Chase card and that’s it.


That sounded very wrong, and sure enough it was. They called back and the next rep had no clue what the first one was talking about and issued the normal Priority Pass number.


Good reminder that Chase phone reps can confidently give out bad info sometimes. Always worth calling again if something sounds off
