Not a full fix, but worth knowing. Chase is apparently honoring 2x points on The Edit bookings if you book by December 22, 2025. Sounds like this is because some of their marketing stayed live longer than it should have.
If you already booked or are planning to book soon, they say they’ll apply the points adjustment automatically to your Ultimate Rewards balance.
Small consolation after all the nerfs, but if you were on the fence, this might be the nudge to book sooner rather than later
