Stayed at the new City Express Charlotte South End a few months ago and got hit with a $50-per-night charge for “enhanced” internet, even though my Titanium Elite status should include that. My Marriott number was on the reservation and showed in the app.
When I called, the hotel said lots of guests had been charged by mistake and they’d fix it. Weeks went by and nothing happened, so I finally disputed it with my credit card. Now my bank says the hotel is fighting the chargeback and refusing to refund.
Pretty wild never had something like this happen at a Marriott before. Anyone else run into this?
