I was honestly shocked to see footage of a full-on fight breaking out at Disney’s Contemporary Resort this weekend. This is one of the most iconic and upscale hotels at Walt Disney World, and yet the video shows multiple guests shoving and throwing punches right near Bayview Gifts in the main concourse. Even more unsettling, a woman with a newborn was caught in the middle trying to calm things down.
It’s sad to think about people spending so much to stay here, only for moments like this to disrupt the magic. I’ve stayed at the Contemporary before and loved the peaceful atmosphere, so it’s hard to imagine that same lobby turning into a fight scene.
