I have been seeing a lot of videos online that suggest Hawaiian Airlines is very strict about enforcing the 22 x 14 x 9 inch carry-on size limit, which has made me a bit worried.
I have a 2-year-old Samsonite softside spinner that I have used for travel many times, but not recently. The bag measures about 23.25 inches from the floor to the top of the handle, which is slightly over the stated limit.
Should I be concerned about this small difference when flying Hawaiian Airlines? Do they strictly measure carry-on bags at the gate, or is there usually some flexibility if the bag is only slightly larger?
