I’m flying with Scandinavian Airlines from DEN to CDG early tomorrow and had a quick question about personal item flexibility.
According to their guidelines, personal items should be around 15 × 11 × 6 inches. My purse is about 18 inches long, but it’s soft and can compress down to around 13–14 inches. I’m confident it would fit under the seat without any issue.
I’m just unsure how strict they are at the gate:
Do they usually measure personal items closely?
Is some flexibility allowed if the bag can be compressed?
Or is there a risk they’ll take it and force me to check it?
Would appreciate any recent experiences with Scandinavian Airlines regarding this.
