I just saw that Carnival’s newest Excel-class ship, Carnival Festivale, is now open for booking and it’s looking like a floating music festival with a record-breaking waterpark. She’ll debut May 2, 2027 with a 15-night transatlantic from Southampton to Port Canaveral, then start 4-, 6-, and 8-night Caribbean itineraries every one stopping at Celebration Key.
They’re packing in six waterslides including raft rides and dueling racers, a nighttime WaterWorks experience, live music venues, music-themed bars, a treehouse adventure trail, and a massive promenade called The Festival.
Honestly, this might be the most activity-packed ship they’ve built.
I’m tempted to book the maiden Caribbean run just to try those raft slides under the stars. Who’s thinking about sailing Festivale when she launches?
