Carnival “Faster to the Fun” early cabin access question

Trying Faster to the Fun for the first time on an upcoming Carnival cruise and wondering how the early stateroom access actually works.

Normally when boarding, the hallways to the cabins are closed off with signs saying not to enter while rooms are still being prepared. Since Faster to the Fun includes being able to drop luggage in the stateroom right after boarding, not sure how that part works in practice.

Do passengers just walk past those hallway doors and go to the cabin, or is there some kind of check or confirmation needed first?

Also wondering if the room key cards are already at the door at that point, or if someone from the crew has to open the room.
