I’ve got a Caribbean cruise booked next year and I’m starting to wonder how a conflict with Venezuela would affect cruising. Aruba and Curacao are pretty close, and with all the recent tension plus US sanctions, it makes me uneasy.
I’m not trying to get political, just honestly curious how cruise lines usually handle situations like this. Would ports get dropped? Routes adjusted? Or is this one of those things that looks scarier on the map than it is in real life?
