Had over 200,000 miles on my Venture card. After getting the Venture X, I downgraded the old Venture to a Quicksilver so I wouldn’t pay two annual fees. Now all my miles are gone converted to basic cash back at one cent per point.
I called multiple reps and managers, and they basically said there’s nothing they can do. Never once was I told I’d lose the miles in the downgrade process.
Anyone ever manage to get Capital One to reverse something like this?
