Can’t reach SAS to rebook and flight is in 29 hours… what now?

First, don’t use someone else’s Gold or Diamond number. That can cause bigger issues if they verify identity. It’s not worth risking your booking over that.


If online won’t allow changes and the US line is closed based on European hours, try:


Calling right when their European customer service opens


Using Skype or another VOIP app to call their Scandinavian numbers directly


Reaching out via their official social media channels (sometimes X or Facebook reps respond faster)


Also double check whether the fare rules allow same day airport rebooking. In some cases, if you show up early at the airport, ticketing staff can modify it directly, though that depends on fare type.


If the alternative is a $2,500 one way, I’d set an alarm and call the second lines open.
