I’m trying to book MEL to MUC return and keep getting this error saying ticketing approval for the fare class couldn’t be obtained from the contracted airline.
It happens on every date I try, different times, different codeshares. From what I can tell, all outbound flights from Melbourne are codeshare, and the call center plus the AI chat can’t help with booking those.
Has anyone found a workaround for this? Or is there a trick to getting these codeshare itineraries ticketed?
