We’re supposed to cruise in two weeks but my son has a new medical issue and we can’t go. I did purchase Allianz travel insurance.
Do I cancel with Royal Caribbean first to start the process and get port fees and taxes refunded? Then file the claim with Allianz after? When submitting the claim, do I subtract the taxes and fees myself or just submit the full invoice and let them calculate?
I have a doctor’s note and the Royal invoice ready.
If anyone has gone through this process recently, I’d appreciate knowing the order of steps you took and how it worked out.
