Cancelled flight and lost first class seats on Hawaiian… what compensation is reasonable?

Booked first class seats on Hawaiian Airlines from SEA to HNL. After a delay at the gate, the flight was ultimately canceled.


We were rebooked on a later flight, but only in regular economy, not even premium. Between losing first class, the delay, and missed time in Hawaii, it feels like a pretty big downgrade overall.


For anyone who’s dealt with Hawaiian (or Alaska handling rebooking), what’s reasonable to ask for here? Refund of the fare difference, miles, travel credit, something else?
