Canceling a non refundable deposit

Hello! I have booked a cruise in late October on the carnival Mardi gras and put down a $297 deposit (3 people in total going). I am seeing now a cruise for the carnival celebration (same dates) for $890 plus $200 obc for the same 3 people. Is there any way to cancel and rebook without losing my deposit or maybe just a smaller fee? Thank you.
